Thursday's Challenge

After the intensity of Tuesday night's flying, I wasn't up to par on Thursday - truthfully, although not achy, I was still not recovered from all the tricks I did on Tuesday.

Still, as always, it's great to fly - and having Jeff there brings an entirely different energy to the class. I worked my mod, since at this point it's just fine tuning, and still, it was a bit sub-par. Acceptable enough, however, to be caught by Jeff (but just once, since I had issues with looking at him as I released) And it was nice seeing everyone there - I really like how these classes work out for me, where there is sort of a weaving of the different classes - so at the beginning I'm with one group of people, then some leave, others join, and some more of the first group leave. I get to see what many people are working on, catch up with them briefly, and do my thing with no relation to where they are in the class. Works for my often-ADHD personality.

And that's it really. I'm glad that Thursday follows Tuesday - it's just enough flying to sap the last little bit of my strength, and I'm hoping that flying like this will increase my stamina, but I'm guessing that what I really need to do for that to happen the way it needs to, is to go back to the gym and do the cardio/strength mix-up.

Oh yeah, I'm on the patch again (if at first you don't succeed, try, try, again!) - and I'd say it's going reasonably well - Right now I have six 9-year-olds trying to fall asleep in Thing 1's room, and they've been here all afternoon and evening. If I didn't need to rush out and have a cig, I figure that bodes pretty well for stickability. (Plus I'm not going to Israel anytime soon! That was the deal breaker last time!)
