Take a look:
(thanks, Dana, for the very amusing commentary! - I'll have to get you to video every time!)
Flying across to Josh has a sense of coming home. No stress at all. However, flying across to Jesse is good for me as well, as it makes me work harder and concentrate more on my form. It was nice to be able to apply some of that in my apron work with Josh.
Mostly, though, flying lately has been about the same mantra over and over- legs straight, break hard, stay tight! That and trying to obtain the stamina to keep improving over the course of the class.
Tonight will be the first time in a few weeks that I did not run at some point during the day before the class. We'll see how that affects performance.
---
Postscript: Was it the lack of running? Was it the extra sleep? I'm not sure, but certainly tonight I didn't perform as I'd have like to. You'd think that doing less and being more well-rested would positively influence my flying. Wrong. I guess not every day can be a day where I progress as I'd like. It was still fun to be in the air.
Even better than flying was witnessing the staff's Halloween costumes. They all wore grey t-shirts, black shorts and athletic knee-high socks. They dressed up as Josh.
