This place was really nice, and had a lovely Old World charm.
Here are some pictures of the hacienda and our room.

Some lovely perks of staying here:
|
Evening turndown included not only chocolates on our pillows but...
-hot water bottles in our beds
-a fire in our wood burning oven
-lowering of shades

The food was super-fresh and delicious! For me, the soups were really the highlights of our meals here, served before the main course at lunch and dinner. The ones we had were creamy quinoa, chard, artichoke, and a typical regional soup with yuca, corn, and other vegetables.

I wasn't together enough to take pictures of the food here, but rectified that oversight at the later meals we had on our adventures!
