Happy Birthday, Dino!!

When I first started flying four years ago, and was struggling with my set splits and whip, Dino would try to come up with new ways for me to think about how to get in and stay in the positions. Even after class was over, he would take me over to the low bar, and work with me to figure it out. At that time, I wasn't the "regular" I am now, and I appreciated the dedication and interest that Dino showed in helping me progress. It was clear that Dino was genuinely interested in seeing us improve and excel as flyers.

Fast forward four years, and Dino still shows us all how interested he is in our flying, and seeing us improve. It's so nice to see him deriving joy from our accomplishments, as well as getting inspiration from the level of skill that he has attained.

Beyond being an excellent instructor, Dino has been a great friend to me over the past several years, and it is a pleasure having him as part of my trapeze "family".

Happy birthday, dear friend. Fly high!

"More than anything else the sensation [of flying] is one of perfect peace mingled with an excitement that strains every nerve to the utmost, if you can conceive of such a combination."
