Thing 1 and Thing 2

It has come to my attention that some people think I'm being unneccessarily mean by calling the girls Things 1 and 2. Aside from the fact that I mean it (mostly) in jest, and that it's a lot kinder than calling them the terrors, which is my other tongue-in-cheek (mostly) nickname for them, it is also a motherly Dr. Seuss reference to Cat in the Hat.

Both girls know that I lovingly refer to them as Things 1 and 2 on the blog. I've also explained to them that it's for their protection and privacy. As expected, Thing 1 understands the explanation, but still does not care for the name (putting it mildly), which Thing 2 doesn't care one way or the other.

For those who think that the names are unnecessarily cruel, I invite you to offer me suggestions that preserve the girls' anonymity. Who is up for it... I will submit the first 4 responses to a poll (particularly given the lackluster showing that the current poll has received!)
